Hema Wilms is the Joint Head of Business Development at the Clear Thinking Clinic.

Hema read Industrial Engineering at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad, where she graduated with honours. She went on to complete a Masters in Environmental Sciences and Safety Engineering at RWTH Aachen, supported by a DAAD scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service.

Her professional life has spanned six countries and three continents — from coordinating EU-funded sustainable development projects across the North Sea Region during her time in the Netherlands, to organising community programmes for international families in Qatar and Nigeria, to representing German industry at cultural events in the United States and focusing on property management and her children while in Germany and Hungary. A trained Mind Mapping Instructor and a graduate of the London School of Journalism's Diploma in Freelance and Feature Writing (with Distinction), she brings together a rare combination of analytical rigour, communication craft, and genuine international fluency.

Hema speaks English, German, and understands Dutch and Tamil. She has spent much of her life dedicated to the well being and development of children as well as building bridges — between people, between cultures, and between the practical and the meaningful. At the Clear Thinking Clinic she does the same, ensuring that clients and instructing parties experience the practice as warm, responsive, and effortlessly professional from the first point of contact.
